She focuses on developing the organisation and assessment tools to qualify the most promising and groundbreaking innovation projects. The portfolio of technologies addresses thermomechanical & chemical recycling, bio-based solutions, end of life biodegradability of polyolefins for the different market where Indorama Ventures Fibers operate.

Dr Jeff Strahan

Jeff Strahan is the Director of Research, Compliance, and Sustainability at Milliken & Company’s Textile Division. With a decade of experience, he oversees product development, sustainability initiatives, and compliance. Jeff holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Gonzaga University and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin.

Dr Behnam Pourdeyhimi

Executive Director & Associate Dean

Dr Pourdeyhimi completed his Ph.D. at the University of Leeds in 1982. He is the William A. Klopman Distinguished Professor of Textile Materials. He won ASTM D-13 Dewitt Smith Medal, The Fiber Society Distinguished Scientist award, and O’ Max Gardner award. He was the president of The Fiber Society and was inducted into the National Academy of Inventors as a Fellow in 2021.
