Mr Johannes Diebel

Managing Director, Forschungskuratorium Textil e. V.

Johannes is head of t+m’s research division FKT since 2017. Among other things, he is responsible for coordinating pre-competitive research funding, public relations and technology transfer. Previously, the industrial engineer for mechanical engineering was in charge of the "Grants Management and Patents" area at the Berlin Industrial Group with a focus on laser joining and 3D printing.

Professor Lieva Van Langenhove

General Secretary, Association of Universities for Textiles (AUTEX)

After working in the textile industry for 5 years, Prof. Van Langenhove joined Ghent University as a full professor. Her field of expertise is fibre-based structures and textile production technology. In 2000, she started research on smart textiles. She has been involved in approximately 40 international projects addressing research, education and valorisation. She is coordinating the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Programme WE-TEAM.
