Alex Zucchi is the managing director and shareholder at Ferraro, an Italian manufacturer of textile finishing machinery. He has been in Ferraro since 2005 and is instrumental in expanding its marketing footprint to over 50 countries.
Alex has many years of experience in the textile machinery sector, and is active in the Italian textile machinery association, ACIMIT. He has been president of the association since 2017 and has been an ACIMIT delegate of CEMATEX, the owner of ITMA, since 2015.
Luck Tack
Luc Tack started his own business at the age of 18. In the past decades, he created and developed a network of businesses in various industries. Since 2009 he is the controlling shareholder and CEO of Picanol NV.

Tsuranori Nomura
Tsuranori Nomura is the operating officer at Murata Machinery, responsible for Global Market - Textile Machinery Division. Since joining the company in 1989, he has held various positions, mainly in textile machinery sales. In 2010, he was appointed Sales Manager of the Textile Machinery Division. One year later, he became the General Manager of the sales department.
In 2014, he was posted to China. During his tenure, he became President of Murata Machinery (Shanghai) and Murata Machinery MFG. (Shanghai). He returned to Japan in 2017, and was appointed General Manager of Sales department, the Textile Machinery Division.

Julie Davies, The Woolmark Company’s General Manager for Processing Innovation & Education Extension, has 30 years’ working experience within the textile industry with a vast amount of expertise in circular knitting, weaving, dyeing and finishing and textile printing. Consulting with leading international fashion and sports brands, Julie has worked extensively throughout the entire supply chain – from yarn development right through to the end consumer product.
In her current role, Julie continues to work with supply chain partners to innovate and develop new processes and products whilst also drawing on her in-depth knowledge of the wool industry to develop specialised education programs for students, trade and consumers.
Alberto Candiani
Alberto Candiani is the personification of "blue-blooded". From his birth in 1982, Alberto was surrounded by the world of denim production and spent most of his childhood using his family's mill as his playground. As he grew, Alberto was guided by his father Gianluigi and Grandfather Primo, who taught him the importance of denim heritage and respecting the environment that surrounds Candiani. In his 20's, Alberto developed an interest in product development and fabric engineering, which he still considers one of the best parts of his job .
Now, at 37 years young, Alberto has settled into his role as Candiani Denim's leader. Carrying on his family’s legacy, he is committed to making Candiani the Greenest Mill in the Blue World through sustainable innovation and his vision for an industrial revolution.
Alberto’s most recent accomplishments include the development of Candiani’s Re-Gen Denim, winner of the ITMA Sustainable Innovation Award 2019, and the opening of Candiani’s first denim specialty store in Milan.

Passionate about the intersection of design and manufacturing, Shirley has been the guiding hand behind Arc'teryx's journey to build a development, quality and sourcing engine that will continue to bring the brand's design vision and product to our outdoor enthusiasts. With over thirty years and a diverse experience in apparel manufacturing, she is intimately familiar with the complexities of both local and global manufacturing and the people in it. She is keen to lean into technology and to cultivate a mindset that will sustain the soft goods industry.
Dr Ingo Mählmann
Dr Ingo Mählmann graduated in mechanical engineering as Diplom-Ingenieur (MSc) at RWTH Aachen University. He then spent six years at Institut für Textiltechnik (RWTH Aachen) as a project and team leader researching the fields of staple fibre processing and nonwovens finalising with his PhD in analysing fibre converting processes.
With strong expertise in this field, he joined Oerlikon Neumag in 2009 as a development engineer for nonwoven processes. In 2012, he became the senior product and business development manager for four years before being appointed as the vice president in sales and marketing at the newly established Oerlikon Nonwoven in 2017.

Shri Anil Rajvanshi is the Senior Executive Vice President & Head of Regulatory Affairs looking after PETCHEM of M/s. Reliance Industries Ltd. (RIL). He is also the member of the National Committee of Textiles of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI). Besides being associated with the Textiles Committee, he also represents Reliance Industries Limited at The Synthetic & Art Silk Mills Research Association (SASMIRA). He has many years of experience working with major fibre producers and has been involved with the Indian Man-made fibre textiles industry since 1989.
