Transforming the World of Technical Textiles

Innovating the Future of Technical Textiles, Nonwovens & Composites

Technical textiles are transforming the world we live in. Developed to meet the high-performance requirements of a particular end-use, they have become the fastest growing textile sector.

Innovative textile materials, including functional textiles, nonwovens and composites, with their varied properties and uses are also playing an important role in reducing environmental impact around the world.

ITMA has been the leading textile industry platform since 1959. With the launch of the composites product sector, ITMA 2023 will bring together the entire textile ecosystem through a leading-edge showcase of innovative technologies and materials, dynamic collaborations, robust discussions, live machinery demonstrations, and innovation forums.

Hear What They Say

It’s great to learn that technology for textile composites which have been showcased at ITMA for many years, has now been established as a separate product chapter. At ITMA 2019, we successfully launched our P2 rapier weaving machine. It was well received by visitors from various industry sectors, ranging from clothing, home and technical textiles, to composite material manufacturing.

ITMA 2019 was a complete success for us. We received lots of positive feedback on our innovations and were very satisfied with the number of visitors and the quality of our contacts.

As a regular ITMA exhibitor and established manufacturer of fibre processing machinery for the technical fibre markets, we feel that the dedicated composites chapter will present us with more focused opportunities to showcase our solutions to the existing wide array of visitors from various industries such as aerospace, automotive, defence and medical.

V-Lap has been exhibiting regularly at ITMA and the 2019 edition was above expectations. Business deals were concluded at the show. The quality and frequency of the visitors were excellent. We would highly recommend companies to participate.
